HS2 Works Notification: Notice of sheet piling works at West Ruislip Portal site – 22 June to 29 August 2026 From 22 June to 29 August 2026 we will carry out sheet piling works within our West Ruislip Portal site, north of the Network Rail line and south of the Ruislip Golf Course. We will work during core hours, 9am to 6pm Mondays to Fridays and 9am to 1pm Saturdays. We will monitor increased noise levels during the piling installation activities. We apologise for any disruption this may cause. After the sheet pile installation works, we will continue with the following activities that are part of the Ickenham Stream diversion: Excavation works (July 2026) Drainage and reinforced concrete works (August 2026) Pipework installation (September 2026) Backfilling and sheet pile removal (October 2026) Shaft construction (November 2026) We will keep you updated as the work progresses. Harvil Road temporary traffic signals
HS2 Works Notification: Harvil Road Temporary three-way traffic signals – Update
We are removing the construction bellmouth at the junction of Dews Lane and resurfacing the bellmouth. A single lane closure and three-way traffic signals on Harvil Road will be put in place for the duration of these works.

Please note the update to the traffic management times from 24 hours per day to 9:30am to 3pm each day.

Duration
A single lane closure will be in place from Wednesday 3 June to Tuesday 23 June 2026.

HS2 noise barrier update
Noise Barrier Installation at West Ruislip – 01/04 to 31/12
Piling ahead of the Installation of the Noise Barriers in now complete from Copthall Tunnel to West Ruislip.
From April 2026 the Noise Barrier Panels have begun to be installed during Core Working Hours (Mon to Fri – 8am to 6pm & Sat 8am to 1pm).
Update – As of 01/06 (under the new main consent for this area) Installation of Drainage ahead of where the Noise Barriers will be installed has been consented to take place during Core Working Hours only (Mon to Fri 8am to 6pm & Sat 8am to 1pm).

We’re writing to update you that the weekend planned full road closure on Harvil Road is postponed.
HS2 Works Update: Weekend overnight Harvil Road closure between 23 and 25 May is postponed
We planned to close Harvil Road between Saturday 23 May 10pm to 5am and Sunday 24 May 10pm to 5am to complete surveys and testing on the bridge.
This work is now postponed. We will update you on new dates in due course.
Harvil Road night-time closures
| HS2/SCS will be carrying out 2 Night Time Road Closures on Harvil Road (at the new Bridge over the Chiltern Line) over the late May Bank Holiday Weekend to allow for a crane to come in and lift the scaffolding materials down to track side so they can be erected under Railway Possessions to carry out surveys & testing to the Bridge at track level. The 2 Night Time Road Closures would be: Sat 23/05 at 10pm to Sun 24/05 at 5am Sun 24/05 at 10pm to Mon 25/05 at 5am It was agreed to use the Bank Holiday Weekend so if there is any reason for an overrun, there would not be the usual Monday morning traffic. Additionally, these dates come just before the HS2/Align works on Harvil Road / Dews Lane that are due to go out under 3-Way Traffic Lights (9.30am to 3.30pm) from 03/06 to 23/06. The Traffic Management Plan below shows the extents of the Road Closure in Blue.  |
