Developments by Hillingdon Station

From Ickenham Residents.
we just wanted to make you aware of the following which applies to the site by the tube station and NOT the former Master Brewer site this  is seeking clarification on whether there are any big environmental impacts that need to be considered.  Planning consultation for 59533/APP/2024/1891 https://planning.hillingdon.gov.uk/OcellaWeb/planningSearch we will obviously be keeping a close eye on this and will let you know as soon as we have any further information

  1. There is insufficient parking. Overall there are not enough spaces to support a store of this size. When you look at the number of dedicated electric charging bays the number left for non-electic cars is ridiculously small.

This is bound to lead to Lidle customers trying to park outside the store.

There is limited parking in the area for the existing local shops so this will reduce the ability for people to park and shop at the local shops.

Trying to squeeze a quart into a pint pot.

This development will also lead to more local traffic and, as Hillingdon Council already know, the traffic is already very heavy along Long Lane especially when it gets to the area from the Ickenham pump junction towards West Ruislip Station and the bottleneck roundabout at the White Bear.

Frankly we don’t need this in the area.
