BRS closure still planned for 14th February to 17th February (during school holidays). Works to reduce the drop from road to gullies that run by the road and thereby improve safety.
We have now learnt a further BRS closure will be required to put back sewer. This may happen in may school holidays.
HS2 Works Notification: Update: 24/7 working to remove water treatment plant at West Ruislip Portal, Hillingdon – extended to 28 Febuary 2026 The water treatment plant removal works are now ongoing until 28 February 2026. Works have been extended to accommodate access for other works. These works will be 24/7 due to site constraints and the safety of the workforce. There will be lorry movements to remove the equipment during the day only. You may notice crane movements to lift the equipment for the water treatment plant and disassembly. Due to constraints on site some crane lifting may happen overnight. You may notice lights on site during nights, but we will position lights to avoid shining directly onto nearby properties. You may also hear white noise alarms during the day to ensure safety on site during the transportation of equipment. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
