HS2 Works Notification: Noise barrier installation at West Ruislip – 27 March to 31 December 2026 We previously informed you of our piling and drainage work within the noise barrier sites. We have now finished piling, while the installation of drainage systems is ongoing. From April 2026, we will begin to install the concrete noise barrier panels from Copthall Tunnel to West Ruislip Portal. There may be periods of noise from construction machinery while we carry out this work. We apologise for any disruption this may cause. However, most activities were paused during the winter period. We are now able to continue and expect the works to run until December 2026.
