From Ickenham Residents. 1 NewThames Water Tankering Operation on Harvil Road – ongoing at present
There are Emergency Works relating to a burst Thames Water Main on Uxbridge Golf Course that is requiring Tankering Operations on Harvil Road that are expected to continue for the next week or so.
There are currently 2-Way Traffic Lights on Harvil Road between Harvil Farm and Skip Lane to facilitate the Tankers, so they can park and fill up as required. This is an ongoing 24/7 operation and Thames Water are working to expedite the repairs as soon as possible. 2 NewPROW U43 Permanent Fence Installation – 23/03 to 29/05
HS2/SCS are beginning works to remove the existing wooden hoarding and replace with permanent CLD Fencing along PROW U43 where the Flood Compensation Area (FCA) is located off Breakspear Road South.
These works were due to start from w/c 23/03 and be completed by 29/05.
The works will be completed by removing one piece of hoarding, then installing CLD Fencing in its place. The PROW will remain open, and Marshalls will be present to ensure works stop to allow pedestrians past safely.
The PROW will remain open at all times.

3 Upcoming Network Rail Night Works between West Ruislip & Harvil Road – Sat 28/03 at 12.30am to Mon 30/03 at 5am
There were several Noise Complaints received from residents towards the end of last week and over the weekend of 14/03 & 15/03 relating to very noisy works that could be heard coming from the West Ruislip area.
The reported noise has been attributed to Network Rail, who have now confirmed they had been carrying out significant track renewal, working at night removing, replacing, and tamping the track between West Ruislip and Harvil Road.
Network Rail have now communicated details of the upcoming night works below to complete these works: Sat 28/03 at 12.30am to Mon 30/03 at 5am IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY NETWORK RAIL THAT THESE WORKS WILL ALSO BE VERY NOISY SO THIS IS A NOTIFICATION TO NEARBY RESIDENTS TO MAKE YOU AWARE OF WHERE THE SOURCE OF THE NOISE WILL BE COMING FROM.
4 Upcoming Road Closure of Breakspear Road South (Service Road) for Affinity Water Main Replacement – Phase 1 = 30/03 to 27/05 / Phase 2 = 16/06 to 24/07 Notice issued by LBH Highways incorrectly stated Road Closure of Breakspear Road South main carriageway Confirmation received from LBH Highways that only the Service Road will be closed (rather than main carriageway) in the following 2 Phases:Phase 1 = 30/03/26 to 27/05/26 (8am to 5pm daily) – Breakspear Road South Service Road – House Number 64 to 114 Copthall Road West (note – junction of Copthall Road West & Breakspear Road South is CLOSED during Phase 1 works) Phase 2 = 16/06/26 to 24/07/26 (8am to 5pm daily) – Breakspear Road South Service Road – House Number 2 to 42 (note – junction of Greenacres Avenue & Breakspear Road South Service Road is CLOSED during Phase 2 works) Phase 1 = Service Road Closure 30/03/26 to 27/05/26 (8am to 5pm daily) Phase 2 = Service Road Closure 16/06/26 to 24/07/26 (8am to 5pm daily)
