And word of this one has already been doing the rounds:

We are proposing a change to our garden waste collection service to make it more sustainable.
The proposed change would see the introduction of a £70 charge for 2025/26 for the collection of a household’s garden waste. The charge would support the running costs of the service and ensure it’s paid for by those using it – rather than the cost being shared by all taxpayers, including those without gardens.
Our garden waste collection service would continue to offer residents:
• better value for money than neighbouring boroughs through a cheaper rate per collection
• weekly collections in spring, summer and autumn
• greater capacity of collected garden waste than other boroughs.
Residents without a subscription would still be able to take their garden waste to our civic amenity sites for free.

Latest HS2 updates – including today

Skip Lane Road Closure (junction with Harvil Road) – Sat 01/02 between 3pm to 4pm (1hour duration)
HS2/SCS have asked for a 1 hour Road Closure of Skip Lane on Saturday 01/02 between 3pm to 4pm to replace some damaged flexible bollards in the middle of the carriageway The Road Closure affects only traffic that would use Skip Lane so Harvil Road will not be impacted in any way. Night Time Road Closures of Harvil Road at New Chiltern Line Bridge – 6 Nights a Week from Midnight to 5am – Mon 17/02 to Mon 17/03  HS2/SCS previously undertook Night Time Road Closures of Harvil Road on 4 consecutive Saturday Nights from Sat 23/11/24 until Sat 14/12/24 to survey the Butt Welds underneath the new Chiltern Line Bridge over Harvil Road. Following these initial surveys of the Bridge the manufacturer has identified a further 170 surveys are required to be carried out on the Bridge, and due to the need for possession of the Railway underneath the Bridge in order to carry out the works, these works can only be done at Night time between the hours of Midnight and 5am (apart from Friday Nights during which no Railway possessions are allowed).  Due to quality assurance issues at the point of fabrication, the manufacturer is required to check the Welds which were completed at fabrication. Please note these are Butt Welds to the haunch brackets, and do not form part of the structural integrity of the Bridge so there is no concern with keeping the Bridge open outside of these times and carrying traffic across Harvil Road. To enable these Bridge surveys to be carried out as soon as is possible, HS2/SCS have agreed with LBH that they can close Harvil Road 6 Nights a Week between Midnight and 5am over a 4 Week Period from Mon 17/02 to Mon 17/03.

The Road will be Closed from Skip Lane junction to The Dogs Trust
