My working methods (regarding appeals) over the past few years have left something to be desired. There have always been more appeal pins on the map than there were outstanding appeals. Finally, I’ve found a better way of working. In future the map will show only outstanding appeals at the date of its update, reported here – usually weekly. The three current appeals are at UB10 8… then EL, JF and TA. Map link.

We’ve added applications for the Master Brewer site development, the HS2 viaduct and ground works to the west of Breakspear Road South. While they are all outside Ickenham’s boundaries, they all affect us. I’ve used the closest postcodes: UB10 9NX, UB9 6LS and UB9 6JN, respectively. Map link.

From the Council:
Good afternoon,
We are considering changing the current Council Tax Reduction Scheme from April 2020 and replacing it with a Council Tax Reduction Banding scheme.
Certain groups, such as pensioners, will not be affected by the changes. Working age persons currently in receipt of Council Tax Reduction may be affected by the proposed changes.
We have been working on designing a local scheme and are now carrying out a public consultation on our draft proposals. To see the details of the proposed changes and have your say about them, please complete this survey by midnight on 3 November 2019.
For more details on:
Please visit our website: https://hillingdon.gov.uk/consultation or contact the Customer Engagement Team on 01895 277038 or at customerengagement@hillingdon.gov.uk
We would like to hear from as many people as possible so can you please help to publicise the consultation by sharing the information at your various meetings and/or any other medium you use to communicate with local residents.
Kind regards
—
