Every Monday, we receive planning updates. We then see how quickly we can get the live applications (i.e. undecided) online. Not very quickly, this week. But they’re all there now.

Result! (Ickenham plan)
Much more to come, no doubt, from Ickenham Plan but about 100 people attended the debut meeting today at the Village Hall. At the end they decided that it would be a good idea to create a Neighbourhood Plan to help preserve and improve Ickenham as a wonderful place to live.
Well done Ickenham Residents’ Association Committee member, Chris Mountain, for his hard work today, at the festive evening and on many occasions in between to start the ball rolling.
The intention is for the Neighbourhood Plan to have its own organisers, independent of the Ickenham Residents’ Association, although some Committee members might want to join in as private individuals. The truth is that the Committee has plenty on its plate already and might not be able to give the new plan the attention it clearly deserves.

Winter 2015 Newsletter added to archive
As each newsletter is published and delivered to Association members by our wonderful street stewards, we upload the previous one to the website. This means that the Spring one has either arrived or will drop through your letter box soon.
You can find the Winter 2015 one here.
Welcome to the new website
If you’re familiar with the Ickenham Residents’ Association website, this page might come as a bit of a shock. Don’t worry, you’re in the right place. You’ll find everything that’s in the old site, and more.
Click on the tabs of interest and, if you want to dig deeper, you’ll find some of them have a subsidiary menu. Just point and click your way to the things that interest you.
Feel free to make comments – they won’t appear immediately, because we have to keep a bit of an eye on them. We don’t want electronic graffiti.
This Update page is where Ickenham-related news will appear. You can also search for stuff, roam the archives or, after a while, watch the ‘category cloud’ words which grow as the number of mentions grows. The smallest size means the word hasn’t been selected yet – give it time.
Thank you for visiting, we hope we’ll see you again soon.
