Ickenham’s boundaries have changed over time. The map below shows them as they are today. The Chiltern Railway marks our northern boundary, the Ickenham Marshes to the east, the original route of the A40 (pre 1992 re-routing) to the south and the Middlesex/Buckinghamshire boundary to west.
The map also shows the location of around 60 green spaces across Ickenham. You can view this map layer by clicking on the box at the top left of the map and selecting the ‘green spaces’ layer. Most are publicly accessible. The names have been drawn from various current and historic sources.
Following boundary changes in 2022, Ickenham is currently divided between two Local Authority Wards, rather than the previous five. All of Ickenham is in the Ickenham and South Harefield Ward, apart from a small area in the Hillingdon East Ward. We are currently within the Uxbridge and South Ruislip Parliamentary Constituency, having previously been split between two (Ruislip, Northwood & Pinner and Uxbridge).
