Improving health care in NW London

We have been asked to circulate the following

This spring, NHS North West London is talking to residents, health and care professionals and community groups on how to make improvements to NHS planned care, and how to reduce waiting times. Planned care refers to a non-emergency health care, such as hospital outpatient appointments or planned surgery.

To do this, we are considering the changing needs of people in North West London, the increasing number of people who are seeking care, and how we tackle the unfair differences in waiting times and care experiences for people from different communities. We want to learn more about residents’ experiences so that we can shape positive improvements.

How residents and organisations can get involved:
1. Please read a short information paper https://www.nwlondonicb.nhs.uk/news/news/improving-planned-care-and-reducing-nhs-waiting-times-north-west-london-your-views which sets out the challenges and our aims to improve planned care.
2. Residents are invited to complete our short survey https://northwestlondonnhs.uk.engagementhq.com/embeds/projects/39344/survey-tools/44358 (which takes 5 -10 minutes).
3. Residents can also send written views to us. Send to FREEPOST, Healthier North West London
4. Join our virtual Residents’ Forum on 5 March 2025, 6 – 7.30pm. Register here.https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/nhs-north-west-london-residents-forum-tickets-1244971957639?aff=oddtdtcreator
