| From HS2 What we are doing From 22 to 26 November 2021we will be carrying out utility investigations near West Ruislip train station. This will help to inform our design decisions in the area. We will investigate the condition of the power network system, gas and water pipes along High Road and Ickenham Road, https://www.hs2.org.uk/work-items/notice-of-utility-investigations-at-high-road-and-ickenham-road/ We will use a ground penetration radar to scan and identify utilities. We will be excavating trial holes and taking measurements of the various assets in the area. How the surveys might affect you In order to carry out these utility investigations safely, a footpath diversion will be in place and the cycle path will be closed for the duration of these works. Your utility services will not be affected also for West End Rd – as above https://www.hs2.org.uk/work-items/notice-of-utility-investigations-on-west-end-road-2/ also notice of overnight culvert surveys at Harvil Road and Breakspear Road South What we are doing From 29 November to 10 December 2021, we will be carrying out overnight surveys along Harvil Road and Breakspear Road South. This will help to inform our design decisions in the area. We will capture 3-dimensional information on the drainage ditches and culverts using a CCTV camera mounted on a small robot. Should we find a blockage, we may need to flush the drainage system using a high-pressure water jet to carry out the investigation. These surveys will take place between 8pm and 5am to minimise impacts on the local road network. For safety reasons temporary traffic management will be in place however this will be removed at the end of each shift. Your utility services will not be affected. https://www.hs2.org.uk/work-items/notice-of-overnight-culvert-surveys-at-harvil-road-and-breakspear-road-south/ |
