New parking charges from April 1

Published in today’s Gazette
A short selection of those which will affect us most:

Increased car parking charges from 6th April for Hillingdon First card holders
On street parking first 30 mins still free
Up to 60 mins is £1.10 will be £1.50
Up to 90 mins is £1.50 will be £2.40
Up to 2 hrs  is £2.00 will be £3.30
Thereafter 80p per 20 mins to maximum stay
Car parks Grainges and Cedars current fee of £1.40 for 2 hours will be £2.00
Long lane behind medical centre up to 1 hr increases from 0.80p to £1.30
Community Close up to 90 mins increases from £1.10 to £2.10

 

Free parking in December

If you live in the borough, you can use your HillingdonFirst card to enjoy free parking during December.

Free parking offer

Use your HillingdonFirst card to enjoy free parking in council-owned car parks and on-street parking bays on the following dates:

  • Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 December
  • Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 December

Please note: This offer does not include leisure centre car parks and Ruislip Lido car parks.

PayByPhone users

Those using PayByPhone must register their HillingdonFirst card on the app to enjoy this offer.

Ticket machine users

Residents who prefer to use payment machines, must have their HillingdonFirst card with them and follow the instructions below (and on the machines) when getting a ticket to ensure no charge is applied. 

  1. Press the yellow button.
  2. Press and hold your HillingdonFirst card on the contactless symbol for up to 4 seconds (until authorised).
  3. Press the green button to receive your free parking ticket.

Display your ticket on your windscreen.
