New overground line names start today

We’ve introduced new names and line colours across London Overground. Here’s how they look and feel.

Each of the 6 routes that make up the London Overground has its own colour. Follow the right line and line colour for your journey. You can change to other lines where necessary, just like on the Tube.

  • Lioness (currently known as Watford Junction to Euston) – yellow
  • Mildmay (currently known as Richmond and Clapham Junction to Stratford) – blue
  • Windrush (currently known as Highbury & Islington to New Cross, Clapham Junction, Crystal Palace and West Croydon) – red
  • Weaver (currently known as Liverpool Street to Enfield Town, Cheshunt and Chingford) – maroon
  • Suffragette (currently known as Gospel Oak to Barking Riverside) – green
  • Liberty (currently known as Romford to Upminster) – grey

Westway Closures

Every weekend, from Friday 8 November until Monday 25 November, the A40 Westway will be closed eastbound between the Westway roundabout and Marylebone Flyover.

Works will take place from 22:00 on Fridays until 05:00 on Mondays. No works will take place outside these times and westbound traffic will not be affected.

The road will reopen on Monday 25 November to minimise disruption during the festive season, with weekend closures resuming on Friday 3 January 2025. 

Signed diversion routes will be in place but local roads are expected to be extremely busy. 

Use alternative routes such as the A312 The Parkway or the A406 North Circular Road for connections with the A4. 

For access to Westfield White City, walk or cycle where possible, or use local public transport. 

Plan ahead, use alternative routes or modes, allow more time for your journeys and check before you travel.
