Upcoming HS2 drop-in meetings
This from HS2’s Patricia Thompson:
Most of you will know that we are planning to host regular monthly drop-in sessions in Ickenham, Ruislip and Harefield.
At these sessions Grant Blowers, the local HS2 community engagement manager for Hillingdon, as well as our contractors, will be available to meet one-to-one with local residents and answer any questions they may have. Below are the dates we have confirmed in Harefield and Ickenham. We are still waiting to hear back from the libraries in Ruislip but I wanted to let you know that we are making progress on this.
We will be making these dates available on HS2inHillingdon and I will be able to give you an update on how we plan to communicate them more widely at our meeting next week.

Ickenham village boundary + Ward overlaps
Wow! That last post caused a stir. Especially when it went onto Facebook.
You all deserve clarification. The boundaries being discussed are the Wards, not the Ickenham boundary itself. Here’s a map, showing which bits of Ickenham fall into which wards. I stole the map from those nice people at Ickenham Neighbourhood Forum

Ickenham Wards
If you have comments on the proposed new boundaries, please take a look at this post: https://ickenhamresidents.co.uk/2018/08/29/do-you-agree-with-proposed-ickenham-ward-boundary/

Do you agree with proposed Ickenham ward boundary?
Update: We are talking about the Ickenham Ward boundary not the Ickenham Village boundary. If you want to know the current Ickenham Ward boundary and what other Wards overlap with it, click here
Click on the map above or here to get further details and have your say – by November 5th latest.

Swakeleys House open 22nd September
Yes, it’s really open this time. Not half open as it was on Festival weekend.
Details are here: https://openhouselondon.open-city.org.uk/listings/1939
If it’s possible please visit, especially if you’ve not been inside. Secondly, because the more people visit, the more likely that it will remain accessible in future.
